  2. Read verses 8-15. How can a man born of the Spirit be noticed? (8; Mt 7:16-20; Gal 5:22-23) Why should we accept the testimony of Jesus? (9-13) What must Jesus do to give us eternal life (spiritual birth)? (14-15; Nm 21:4-9; 7:39)
  3. Read verses 16-21. Why did God send his One and Only Son to this world? (16,17) How can we be free from being condemned? (18) Why and why do people not come to Jesus? (19-21)
  4. Read verses 22-36. What was a discussion between John’s disciples and a Jew? (22-26) What was John’s reply? (27-36) What do you learn from him?
