Colossians 2:6-15

Key Verses: 2:9-10a

  1. What does it mean to receive Christ Jesus as Lord, and to “continue to live in him” (6; Jn 8:31,32; 15:4)? How can we do this (7)?
  2. What warning is given and how might this be relevant today (8)? Read verses 9-10a. What should we know about Christ and what we have in him? How does this help us avoid going astray and continue in him?
  3. Note the repetition of “in Christ” and its equivalent (9-12). How have we been brought to fullness in Christ? What does Christ’s fullness mean to you?
  4. What has God done for us through Christ (13-15)? How can we boldly serve God even in dire circumstances?
